Data we collect

For accounts we process email, a one-way password hash, language preference and session records. We store information submitted through contact, newsletter and dealer-claim forms.

To prevent abuse (rate limiting) your IP address is processed transiently; it is not stored in raw form — only a short-lived sha256 digest is kept.

A saved calculator result stays only in your browser's local storage and is not sent to the server.

Purpose and basis

We process data to provide accounts and secure sessions, answer requests, manage newsletter consent, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Newsletter signup is not activated until the emailed verification link is confirmed.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell data. Hosting, database, email-delivery and optional analytics providers may process only what is required to provide their service.

Records are kept while needed for their purpose or until a valid deletion request; expired session and verification records are periodically removed.
